About us

This congregation was organized in 1897, the first church organized by the newly formed Asheville Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in the United States (PCUS).
The present church building was built in 1897, on land donated for that purpose by the Andrews Development Company.
In 1959, the Fellowship Hall and Education Building was added. In 1976, the Sanctuary enjoyed a complete renovation on the inside, retaining the "landmark" appearance of the building on the outside with a roofed walkway being constructed, connecting the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall.
Our mission as a church family is to proclaim salvation by grace through faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and honoring the tenets of Reformed Biblical Christianity.
